NACE ONLINE REGISTRANTS CAN SUPPORT THE INDUSTRY’S FUTURE BY DONATING TO THE EDUCATION FOUNDATION

Hoffman Estates, IL– June 29, 2010 – Industry professionals who register online for the International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) 2010 will have the ability to make a tax-deductible donation to the I-CAR Education Foundation and help support the Education Foundation’s efforts in making an impact in the lives of automotive collision students across the country. Online registrants will have the option of making a $5, $10, $25, or $50 donation to the foundation and as a “thank you,” those individuals who make a $50 donation will receive a NACE 2010/I-CAR Education Foundation technician shirt at the expo. These types of donations help make Education Foundation projects such as the Ultimate Collision Education Makeover $50,000 school grant, student scholarships, and other support projects possible for automotive collision schools and students.

I-CAR Education Foundation Executive Director Scott Kruger added, “NACE is providing attendees with a great opportunity to help the future of the industry by making a tax-deductible donation to the I-CAR Education Foundation. Every donation amount will help the Education Foundation’s efforts to support automotive collision students and instructors. We would like to thank NACE for this effort and I look forward to NACE 2010 where we can showcase the donation results to the industry as an investment into their own future.”

NACE is owned by the Automotive Service Association (ASA). Ron Pyle, ASA president, commented on the I-CAR Education Foundation’s partnership by saying, “Each of the five sponsoring organizations of our new Industry Forum & Reception have the opportunity to raise funds via the charitable donation election within the online registration system for NACE. We are more than pleased with the opportunity to assist the I-CAR Education Foundation in furthering its cause. We consider them to be an important industry partner and appreciate their support of our event.”

NACE, the flagship event of Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW), is scheduled for Oct. 10-13 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. For additional information about NACE 2010, visit www.naceexpo.com.
