BAR’S PRODUCTS SUPPORTS 250 AUTOMOTIVE COLLISION SCHOOLS THROUGH I-CAR COLLISION REPAIR EDUCATION FOUNDATION IN-KIND PRODUCT DONATION

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL- October 21, 2010- For the second year, Bar’s Products has donated their Bar’s Leaks and Rislone products to 250 collision schools through the I-CAR Collision Repair Education Foundation. Collision school instructors responded to a survey asking them what Bar’s Products they would be able to best utilize within their automotive program and Bar’s Products agreed to ship a case of the requested product to each school. The total monetary value of this product donation is $13,500.

“I would like to thank Bar’s Products for their second annual product donation to collision schools across the country,” stated Collision Repair Education Foundation Executive Director, Scott Kruger. “To have nearly 100 more schools respond to this year’s survey compared to 2009 displays the schools need of the industry’s support to instruct their students. On behalf of the staff and Board of Trustees, I thank Bar’s Products for their continued support of the Foundation through projects such as this and our Cintas student technician shirt program.”

Four County Career Center Instructor Steve Hootman in Archbold, OH stated, “The auto collision repair students and I would like to thank Bar’s Products for their generous donation of twenty-four bottles of 8 ounce Rislone 2-cycle oil. When the students have the opportunity to work with quality products during their training, they will be more inclined to use the same quality products when they are working in their profession following graduation. Thank you again for your support of career and technical education at our school.”

“All the team members at Bar’s Leaks and Rislone believe that the future success of the automotive industry is greatly dependant on the efforts of organization like the I-CAR Collision Repair Education Foundation. It is not only our duty to support their efforts, but we take great pride in it as well, “Jim Moffitt, Bar’s Leaks and Rislone Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
