B&L AUTOMOTIVE OF CHICAGO JOINS COLLISION REPAIR EDUCATION FOUNDATION’S INDUSTRY LEADERSHIP CIRCLE

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL- January 18, 2011- B&L Automotive of Chicago, IL has received the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s Industry Leadership Circle donor recognition designation through their $1,000 contribution to the Foundation. Individual repair facilities achieve this donor designation by donating $1,000 or more annually to the Education Foundation. This donation will support the Foundation’s Collision Repair Education Campaign fund which allows the Foundation to provide its annual student scholarships, school grants, and the Ultimate Collision Education Makeover grant.

B&L Automotive Repairs, Inc. Owner/President Pete Rizzo said, “B&L Automotive Repairs, Inc. has been in the collision industry since 1978 (33 years). The last couple of years, our industry has advanced and evolved to a point that not just anybody can work on these ‘newer’ cars. With going ‘green’, computer measuring, waterborne, aluminum, paperless and H6 (HASPA), we see the need for fresh open minds, and understand in order to utilize these minds, we must start with the proper education. Through motivating and educating our own employees, positive change has been hard, sometimes frustrating, not to mention, time consuming. We are proud to support the Collision Repair Education Foundation as we believe this organization will be a great resource for this industry, and if guided properly, we believe we will be able to utilize and benefit from each student’s hard work.”

Collision Repair Education Foundation Executive Director Scott Kruger said, “I commend B&L Automotive for supporting the Education Foundation at this level and joining our efforts in supporting school’s collision programs and their students. B&L Automotive joins an elite and select list of other repair facilities within the Foundation’s Industry Leadership Circle, and I would encourage other repair facilities to follow these donors’ lead in supporting the Foundation in 2011 and beyond. The work that the Foundation has accomplished the past few years is enhancing the educational opportunities for the industry’s future professionals and this has been made possible only through the Foundation’s industry donors and supporters.”
