REGISTRATION OPEN FOR COLLISION REPAIR EDUCATION FOUNDATION’S SUMMER GOLF FUNDRAISER IN SALT LAKE CITY – LOCAL DEALERSHIP GROUP OFFERS VEHICLE AS HOLE-IN-ONE PRIZE

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL – January 31, 2011- Registration is now open for the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s 10th annual golf fundraiser event that will take place the afternoon of Thursday, July 21st at Stonebridge Golf Club in Salt Lake City. Nearly half of the registration spaces have already been filled through sponsoring companies and 2010 golfers committing to play in this year’s fundraiser. Industry professionals are encouraged to register early as the Foundation’s 2010 event in Chicago sold out with 144 participants and raised a record amount of money for the Foundation’s scholarship and grant fund.

To help enhance the day of raising funds for a great cause and networking with industry professionals from around the country, Salt Lake City based Larry H. Miller Dealership Group has generously offered a Lexus IS-250 AWD vehicle as a hole-in-one prize during the event. Attendees will have the opportunity to drive away with their prize through one lucky shot.

This fundraiser will be taking place in conjunction with industry meetings being held that week in Salt Lake City. Funds raised through this event assist the Education Foundation’s efforts in providing support to collision students across the country. Individual player registration is $200 (foursome team $800), which includes: 18 holes of golf at Stonebridge Golf Club, cart rental, complimentary beverages on the course, lunch, buffet dinner, attendee bag with promotional items, and the opportunity to participate in several contests on the course. For those attendees who will be traveling into Salt Lake City to attend industry meetings that week, complimentary transportation will be provided to and from the Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel to the golf course. The Foundation will also be offering complimentary shipping of player attendee bags and promotional items from the golf course back to their home to alleviate any travel inconveniences.

Several sponsorship opportunities for the golf fundraiser are still available. Registration forms are available for download online at www.CollisionEducationFoundation.org and registration spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Questions regarding the Education Foundation’s summer golf fundraiser can be directed to Associate Director of Development Brandon Eckenrode at Brandon.Eckenrode@ed-foundation.org or 847-463-5244.
