REGISTRATION AND SPONSORSHIP OPEN FOR COLLISION REPAIR EDUCATION FOUNDATION’S 2013 SUMMER GOLF FUNDRAISER IN BOSTON • HELICOPTER GOLF BALL DROP FUNDRAISER INCLUDED WITH 2013 EVENT

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL – December 4, 2012- Registration and event sponsorship is now available for the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s 12th annual golf fundraiser event taking place Thursday, July 25, 2013 in Boston, MA. Golfers will enjoy a round of golf at the South Shore Country Club, a championship par 72 golf course designed in 1922 by Wayne Stiles and features rolling topography, elevated approaches, and pristine conditions. As the Education Foundation’s 2012 golf fundraiser sold-out 6 months in advance, industry professionals are encouraged to register for this year’s golf fundraiser early as it is anticipated to be sold-out by early 2013. This fundraiser takes place in conjunction with the Collision Industry Conference (CIC) and I-CAR industry meetings being held that week in Boston, and funds raised through this event assist the Education Foundation in providing support to collision repair students and their school’s collision programs.

Even if you can’t attend in person, industry professionals can still score a hole-in-one through the helicopter golf ball drop fundraiser that will take place as part of the event, presented by LORD Fusor. Individuals can sponsor golf balls ($25 each ball/ 5 for $100) that will be dropped from a helicopter over a hole on the South Shore Country Club golf course the day of the event. Whoever sponsors the numbered golf ball that goes in the hole (or the closest to the pin) will win a $1000 American Express gift card. Participants do not need to be present to win and only 1500 golf balls will be sold.

Early-bird individual player registration is $225 p/person ($900 foursome team) before April 1, 2013 and $275 p/person ($1,100 foursome team) after April 1, 2013. Registration includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, complimentary beverages/snacks on the course, BBQ lunch, dinner, attendee promotional items, and the opportunity to participate in several contests on the course. For those attendees who will be traveling into Boston to attend industry meetings that week, complimentary transportation will be provided to and from the industry events to the golf course.

This fundraiser event is open to all industry professionals and registration spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Those interested in registering, sponsoring, and/or participating with the golf ball drop fundraiser should contact Director of Development Brandon Eckenrode at Brandon.Eckenrode@ed-foundation.org, 847-463-5244, or visit www.CollisionEducationFoundation.org for more information.
