DON HERMANEK OF INSURANCE AUTO AUCTIONS AND RENEE RICCIOTTI OF 3M JOIN COLLISION REPAIR EDUCATION FOUNDATION BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Hoffman Estates, IL– April 25, 2013 – Sr. VP and Chief Client Officer Don Hermanek of Insurance Auto Auctions and National Sales Manager Renee Ricciotti of 3M have joined the Collision Repair Education Foundation Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees consists of industry members who provide guidance in the organization’s efforts to support secondary and post-secondary collision students nationwide. The Board selects recipients of the organization’s annual student scholarships and tool grants in addition to naming the winning Ultimate Collision Education Makeover schools.

Collision Repair Education Foundation Executive Director Clark Plucinski noted, “I would like to thank Don and Renee for joining our Board of Trustees. Both 3M and Insurance Auto Auctions have been long- time supporters of the Collision Repair Education Foundation and our efforts to support the future professionals of the collision industry. Both will be valuable additions to our Board of Trustees as we work towards taking this organization to the next level and enhance our ability to support secondary and post-secondary collision school programs, instructors, and students.”

“The Collision Repair Education Foundation works tirelessly to build awareness of the industry and developing the leaders of tomorrow and I am excited to join the Board of Trustees of such a valued organization,” said Don Hermanek. “IAA has a long-standing commitment to education-focused organizations such as the Collision Repair Education Foundation and I am pleased to be able to work closely with the rest of the Board in guiding and cultivating the careers of promising students, who will undoubtedly be the next generation of leaders for our industry.”

Ricciotti noted, “I am honored to be elected to a worthy collaborative organization. Representing 3M, supporting the schools, students, and the future of our industry is where I would like to contribute my talents while making a difference in our community.”

Hermanek, in his current position, helps to continue to develop and cultivate IAA’s mature and global seller customer base. Mr. Hermanek is a 35+year veteran of the automotive claims and salvage industry. Prior to this position, Mr. Hermanek was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing which also included field sales, corporate accounts and all marketing leadership for IAA.

Before joining IAA in 2000, Mr. Hermanek served as Vice President of Business Development for Consolidated Services Corp. (now Lease Plan), Vice President of National Sales for Safelite Glass Corporation, and Vice President of Sales for ADP Claims Services (now Audatex/Solera).

He is a member of numerous industry and professional associations. Mr. Hermanek holds a BS Marketing degree from University of Illinois-Chicago, and began his professional career in sales and management with the IBM Corporation after college.

Ricciotti, who joined 3M Automotive Aftermarket Division in 1994 as an account representative for the Northeast region, also has served as the area sales manager for the Midwest region, training and development supervisor, marketing supervisor for Adhesives, Sealers and Coatings and national account marketing supervisor. She has received numerous awards for her performance, including the 3M Golden Step Award, Brick Layer Award and top sales performer. She is a certified 3M Six Sigma Green Belt and participant in the 3M executive mentor program. Ricciotti is a committee member of the Women’s Industry Network and actively involved in other collision industry organizations. She is a graduate of Villanova University with a bachelor of business administration with a concentration in finance.
