COLLISION REPAIR EDUCATION FOUNDATION RETURNING TO AMERICAN SCHOOL COUNSELOR ASSOCIATION’S 2015 NATIONAL MEETING TO HIGHLIGHT COLLISION CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Hoffman Estates, IL – February 25, 2015 – To help provide school counselors from around the country with collision industry and career opportunity information for their students, the Collision Repair Education Foundation will be exhibiting and presenting at the 2015 American School Counselor Association Annual Conference being held June 28-July 1 in Phoenix, AZ. The Education Foundation will have a booth during the conference’s trade show and presenting during the “Career Tracks” section of the event.

Collision Repair Education Foundation Director of Development Brandon Eckenrode noted, “When attending the 2014 event, we were overwhelmed with the number of counselors that approached us asking for more information about the collision industry that they can share with their students. We look forward to returning to the 2015 event in Phoenix and provide counselors with current information about our industry, explain the various industry career opportunities for students to consider, and encourage that their schools invest in their collision school programs. The Education Foundation has increased our efforts to communicate to school administration and counselors about the need to support their high school and college collision school programs and participating in this event is key to ensure that the collision industry is visible to this group.”

For additional information about the American School Counselor Association, visit www.SchoolCounselor.org. Industry organizations looking to assist high school and college collision school programs and their students through monetary and/or in-kind product donations should contact Director of Development Brandon Eckenrode at 847.463.5244 or Brandon.Eckenrode@ed-foundation.org.
