Hoffman Estates, IL – September 21, 2015 – The Collision Repair Education Foundation will be hosting an open house event at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology (Lancaster, PA) Friday, October 2, 2015 in recognition of their 2014 Ultimate Collision Education Makeover school grant award. Industry professionals are encouraged to attend this event to tour the program, meet the instructors/ administrators, and talk with the collision students. The event is taking place Homecoming weekend so collision program alumni are also invited to attend.
“We are honored to receive this makeover grant from the Collision Repair Education Foundation,” commented Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology President William Griscom. “Our Collision Repair Technology program is celebrating its 50th anniversary at College this year and to have this grant bring our shop in to the 21st century is greatly appreciated. In addition to our students learning from the I-CAR curriculum, we can now ensure they are being trained on state-of-the-art equipment which strongly enhances their chances of finding employment after graduation.”
Collision Repair Education Foundation Executive Director Clark Plucinski noted, “We are very proud of the transformation of the Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology collision program. This Makeover award has taken their program to the next level and we will continue to work with the school to ensure the students coming out of the program have opportunities to become employed in the industry. I invite all industry members to join me at the event to see firsthand the transformation of the program.
