The funds were raised by the St. Louis I-CAR Committee from their spring and fall school career fairs.
Gene Slattery, a member of the Committee, stated, “Our St Louis I-CAR Sub-Committee surrounded itself with some go getters in the St Louis Automotive and Collision Repair industry. We partnered up with several great companies who supported the two career fairs from the get go. We set the goals to achieve and then made it become a reality for the schools, students and instructors. These events could not have been achieved without partnerships with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Gateway Mortorsports Park, NHRA, CREF, the I-CAR Sub-Committee, and all our sponsors. Everyone was satisfied and many students were hired and many have future interviews. What an honor it was working together for a very worthwhile goal for our industry.”
