HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL – March 9, 2011 – LKQ Corporation has donated $9,000 in product to nine collision programs through the Collision Repair Education Foundation. The schools selected were applicants to the Education Foundation’s 2010 Ultimate Collision Education Makeover grant. Each school was able to select $1,000 in LKQ products for their school’s collision program. In addition, LKQ also donated $6,000 to support the Education Foundation’s Collision Repair Education Campaign general scholarship/grant fund and is participating as a sponsor of the Education Foundation’s 2011 golf fundraiser being held this summer in Salt Lake City. STERLING AUTOBODY CENTERS CONDUCT SAFETY TRAINING FOR SCHOOL COLLISION PROGRAMS THROUGH COLLISION REPAIR EDUCATION FOUNDATION

With support from safety consultant, Environmental, Risk Management & Safety, Inc. (ERS), Sterling offers training to local market secondary and post secondary collision schools on topics such as Hazard Communication/Right To Know, Personal Protection Equipment, Tools Safety, Good Housekeeping & Pollution Prevention, Driver Safety, and Autobody Repair & The Environment. In addition, Sterling offers a complimentary on-site safety audit of the school facility as well as access to additional ERS online safety training for students. INTER-INDUSTRY PROVIDES $1.1 MILLION IN SUPPORT TO SCHOOLS AND STUDENTS THROUGH COLLISION REPAIR EDUCATION FOUNDATION IN 2010
HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL – February 4, 2011 – The Collision Repair Education Foundation would like to thank the inter-industry for providing $1.1 million in support to collision schools, instructors, and students in 2010. Through monetary and in-kind product donations, the 2010 Collision Repair Education Foundation donors helped to provide student scholarships, student tool grants, school equipment and supply grants, the 2nd annual Ultimate Collision Education Makeover school grant, and much more. An additional note of success for 2010 is that the number of Industry Leadership Circle donors to the Collision Repair Education Foundation nearly doubled in 2011 compared to 2010. REGISTRATION OPEN FOR COLLISION REPAIR EDUCATION FOUNDATION’S SUMMER GOLF FUNDRAISER IN SALT LAKE CITY – LOCAL DEALERSHIP GROUP OFFERS VEHICLE AS HOLE-IN-ONE PRIZE
HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL – January 31, 2011- Registration is now open for the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s 10th annual golf fundraiser event that will take place the afternoon of Thursday, July 21st at Stonebridge Golf Club in Salt Lake City. Nearly half of the registration spaces have already been filled through sponsoring companies and 2010 golfers committing to play in this year’s fundraiser. Industry professionals are encouraged to register early as the Foundation’s 2010 event in Chicago sold out with 144 participants and raised a record amount of money for the Foundation’s scholarship and grant fund.
