Hoffman Estates, IL– January 5, 2011 – Collision students across the United States are encouraged to apply for the over $90,000 in available scholarships and grants made possible through the Collision Repair Education Foundation and their supporters. These spring 2011 opportunities are open to collision students attending career and technical schools and colleges and include:

The scholarship application is available to download online at the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s web site at www.CollisionEducationFoundation.org. All applications must be postmarked by March 4, 2011 to be eligible. Winners will be chosen in April 2011 and notified by mail and phone. FINISHMASTER DONATES $52,000 IN PRODUCT TO 3 COLLISION SCHOOLS THROUGH COLLISION REPAIR EDUCATION FOUNDATION
HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL- January 3, 2011- FinishMaster has donated $52,000 in supplies to three collision programs through the Collision Repair Education Foundation. The donated kits contain an assortment of supplies such as masking tape, adhesive, paint remover, and other items. The schools receiving these donations include: Ivy Tech Community College (Terre Haute, IN), Kennedy-King College (Chicago, IL), and Northcentral Technical College (Wausau, WI). 3M DONATES OVER 10,000 ROLLS OF TAPE TO 260 SCHOOLS THROUGH COLLISION REPAIR EDUCATION FOUNDATION
HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL- December 16, 2010- 3M has come to the aid of 260 secondary and post-secondary collision programs across the country by donating over 10,000 rolls of masking tape through the Collision Repair Education Foundation (formerly the I-CAR Education Foundation). Over 3,000 rolls of ¾’’ making tape and 7,000 rolls of 3’’ masking tape were distributed to collision programs in total equaling a $140,000 product donation that will ease collision department budgets by providing students with the opportunity to work with up-to-date supplies. SAS SAFETY CORP. DONATES OVER 6,000 PAIRS OF SAFETY GLASSES TO COLLISION SCHOOL PROGRAMS THROUGH COLLISION REPAIR EDUCATION FOUNDATION
HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL- December 16, 2010- Secondary and post-secondary students will be safer in their collision programs through SAS Safety Corp.’s donation of over 6,000 pairs of their “Killer Bee” safety glasses to the Collision Repair Education Foundation (formerly the I-CAR Education Foundation). These donated safety glasses will be distributed to schools who applied to the Ultimate Collision Education Makeover $50,000 school grant and students applying for the available Education Foundation’s 2011 spring scholarships and grants.
