Students entering the Collision Repair Technology program begin by learning safety procedures and practicing personal safety and vehicle construction basics. Students will also learn how to repair minor damage, filling with plastic as well as other repairs to sheet metal. Basic MIG and Oxy-Acetylene welding is covered. Live work is done in the shop. Estimating on the computer and preparing work orders give the students a hands on approach to all the learning activities.
