Volunteers and Committees: Help your local collision schools!

Interested in working with one of your local collision schools to help promote collision as a career and to help them get much needed teaching supplies and equipment?

The Collision Repair Education Foundation is providing a way to do just that.

Through the Education Foundation’s program, a volunteer or committee interested in participating with schools can follow three steps, each which will help to provide details on how a volunteer or committee can get involved.

In the video below, Lisa Ferguson, I-CAR’s volunteer committee chair for Pennsylvania, explains how the Philadelphia I-CAR committee has worked with the Foundation to improve employee recruitment and training programs.

After completing a step, the volunteer or committee can submit paperwork and become part of the Education Foundation’s Volunteer and Committee Recognition Wall!

    The steps are:

  • 1. Meet and Greet
  • 2. Get Involved
  • 3. Fundraising

Please start with Step I below and share it with your other volunteers. Once you complete Step I, please send the Education Foundation your paperwork so we can recognize you on the Recognition Wall.

Remember, even if you do already know your local school, it is still important to fill out the paperwork for each step so we can properly recognize the volunteer or committee!

Any questions, please contact Melissa Marscin at melissa.marscin@ed-foundation.org.
